What we do for our clubs and members

We provide specialist support and advice to our member clubs, manage a programme of competitive and representative golf and encourage the development of young talent through:

  • Handicapping and Rules of Golf advice to clubs
  • Rating courses in accordance with WHS guidelines
  • Safeguarding guidance and Welfare Officer support
  • Acting as an effective conduit between our clubs and England Golf
  • A schedule of Championships and other County competitions for players of varying abilities
  • Opportunities for players of all ages to take part in representative golf through County Teams, both regionally and nationally.
  • Coaching and development programmes for aspiring junior golfers.
